NCAA Championship Basketball Demo

We recommend you read this file before installing and running the NCAA
Championship Basketball Demo.

Note: NCAA Championship Basketball requires an IBM PC compatible with a
486DX processor.  It is not designed to run on PCs with 486SX processors.

Note: Installing the demo onto your hard drive may take up 14MB depending
on the size of your hard drive.

Installation
------------
1.  Insert the CD in your CD-ROM drive.
2.  At the DOS prompt, type D: {ENTER} to change to your CD-ROM drive
    (or use the correct letter of your CD-ROM drive if other than D:).
3.  At the D: prompt, type INSTALL {ENTER}.   You will be prompted to 
    type in the destination hard drive letter.  The install program will 
    create and copy all files to a "NCAADEMO" directory on your hard 
    drive.

Sound Card Setup
----------------
To set up your sound card for NCAA Championship Basketball use the HMI 
Sound Operation System Setup program.
1.  Select the appropriate sound card that matches your hardware.   
2.  Enter the correct Address Port, IRQ, and DMA settings.
3.  Test the sound with the selection you have just chosen. If your sound
    is not working properly, check and verify your sound card settings
    and rerun the setup program.

Starting the Game
-----------------
From the NCAADEMO directory, type in "NCAADEMO" to start the game.

Troubleshooting
---------------
Some users may experience problems running this demo under Windows (TM) 95 
using the minimum system requirements.  If it appears that the program is 
not properly running, try running the demo without the sound drivers loaded. 
To do this, at the NCAADEMO directory type in "NCAADEMO *" {ENTER}.
Note: You will not be able to hear any audio portions of the demo when 
using this command.


Video Cards
------------
Requirements- VESA compatible SVGA video card capable of displaying
640X480 resolution with 256 colors (512K or more video RAM). Please contact
your video card manufacturer with any VESA driver or video card problems
you may incur.

Memory Usage
------------
NCAA Championship Basketball requires approximately 5500k total free memory.  
To see if your system has enough memory available please type the following 
command at the "C:\" prompt: MEM /C.
