All the relevant files can be found in the '\C&C' directory of the CD. Some final notes on cc-scen: 1. this is the only version I am ever going to do unless there is a serious bug in it. I have no intention to add anything to it. Do not ask for future versions. 2. The requirements to run cc-scen are: - at least 512K of video memory on your video card - a Microsoft compatible mouse driver installed - able to run in 640x480x256 colour mode 3. if the program tells you it can't identify your graphics card, try loading it when you have a vesa compatible driver loaded. If this still doesn't work, tough. There is nothing I can do. 4. do not email me about this problem unless there is no other choice. Any emails asking me about hex editors etc. get immediately junked. 5. I will be scanning the newsgroups: alt.games.command-and-conq, and comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.strategic Please post any questions you have about creating scenarios there as I would prefer to answer questions once only to a large number of people rather than many times to many people. Please try and identify your post (with something like C&C: [EDITING] in the header, as the latter group has hundreds of posts per day and I have no intention to look for cryptically headed messages). Hopefully this will also allow others to answer the questions as well. 6. Want more information about edit the game (such as map information)? Email Westwood at: virtualted@westwood.com and ask then if they will release their information about the maps, or release their own editor. Hopefully they will get annoyed enough to do something about it :) Andrew Griffin (buggy@adam.com.au)
