MISSION CRITICAL is an exciting new product that combines new

STORY SUMMARY:

The first interplanetary war in history began in 2119 when North
America and a group of fledgling colony worlds began a desperate
struggle to secede from a powerful United Nations that had become
oppressive and corrupt.  

It is now 2134, and the war has taken a terrible toll on both
sides.  

You start out as a crew member aboard the heavy cruiser U.S.S.
Lexington.  Your ship is on a mission to investigate an alien
presence on a world 68 light years from Earth - a presence that
might tip the balance of power.  

The future is put into your hands when a surprise attack leaves the
Lexington under your command. 

Your adventures will take you from a savage battle between
starships in deep space to the mysterious world of Persephone and
finally to the haunted ruins of a battle scarred future Earth.  In
the end you will confront the strange beings who may have the power
to end 15 years of interplanetary war and forever change humanity's
relationship with the universe.
