Hey!Stupid is a very condensed, very whacked, american sans-serif face. It can be recognized by its extreme uneven color in text sizes and its breathtaking post-industrial beauty in display. Yup is actually well kerned while duh is intentionally bad {or is it the other way around?]. Its genisis was in a letter press project where christa and i just couldnÕt get the look we wanted until we took the lead type over to the woodshop and got the disc sander going (disk-sander, hmmm, a new digital metaphoeÉ}. Soon after my dog, puCk, was creamed on a busy street in north carolina and so in a sense this font is a memorial to him.
