Hi!  Welcome to the System Shock CD Demo.  To run the demo, just select
"Run System Shock" from the menu.  If you have a sound card, you will want
to configure and test it from the main menu before running the demo.  If
you're interested in further details about running the demo, or are having
technical difficulties, you can look at the tech.txt file on the CD.  

The full floppy disk version of System Shock contains several features
that have been disabled in the demo, as well as more than 9 additional
levels beyond the one featured here.  The game should be available at any
retail software store, or can be ordered directly from Electronic Arts by
calling 1-800-245-4525.  The Enhanced CD Version of the game should be out
by Christmas, and contains full speech versions of the logs and emails
in the game, as well as SVGA rendering, SVGA cutscenes, and support for
several popular varieties of VR headsets.
