Description:
     The Thunderbolt is replaced by a similar weapon called the
Buster Cannon.  This weapon fires an invisible beam at a rate of
fire equal to that of the thunderbolt.  If the beam touches a
living (or undead) creature, an explosion will erupt centered
on the creature.  A direct hit normally causes 30 points of
damage.  Creatures killed by a direct hit from the buster cannon
ALWAYS explode.  This weapon is VERY messy :)

Advantages over the Thunderbolt:
  * The buster is completely safe -- it won't explode when used
     underwater, and blasts from your own gun don't hurt you.
  * Zombies and spawn die instantly from a direct hit,
     regardless of hit points.
  * Blasts from explosions can wear down nearby foes.
  * Beam range is five times the range of lightning.
  * Beam auto-aims like most other weapons.

Disadvantage:
  * Shamblers take half damage.  The supernailgun becomes the
     most effective gun against the shambler.  The buster will
     kill a shambler nearly as fast though.

A new progs.src is included.

qc files included are:
  * client.qc   - text only (optional)
  * items.qc    - text only (optional)
  * pm.qc
  * weapons.qc

How to Use:
     Unzip the file.  Create a new directory within the QUAKE
directory called BUSTER (or whatever).  Before you can use this
mod, you need to compile a new progs.dat using the modified qc
files AND the new progs.src file.  Place the new progs.src and
qc files (overwriting any existing files) in the PROGS subdirectory
of BUSTER then compile with your QuakeC compiler.  (If you don't
have a QuakeC compiler, get one NOW!  QC106PAC.ZIP is a great
QuakeC package.)  The newly compiled progs.dat should be written
into the BUSTER directory.  Now change to the QUAKE directory
and type 'Quake -game buster' to play.

* Construction *

Base                    : New code plus code changes to some standard
                           qc files.
Build Time              : Several hours.
Hardware used           : Pentium-100 with 16MB RAM and Quake v1.06.
Known Bugs              : No bugs, but continuous explosions resulting
                           from attacking a shambler or several strong
                           opponents can slow down game play.  This
                           will be fixed (more or less) in the next
                           release.
