Fish's Revenge Demo

How To Play:
===========

Fishes Renvenge is a battle between you (Fin - the Fish) and
the hicks that have been disturbing your Sunday morning
breakfast for years.

To play, first select GO FISHING from the main menu.

On the lake menu, you can select the lake you would like to
fish and position your boat on the lake for the best fishing.
In general you will see clues when you are in the best locations.
When you are ready select GO FISHING.

Once you are on the fishing screen:

CAST your line by holding down the left mouse button until
the tension is near the top of the meter, then let go of the
mouse button.  The higher the tension the farther the cast 
will go.  The line will then be cast into the water.

REEL IN your line by again clicking on the left mouse button
and holding it down. The speed of the reel can be adjusted by 
moving the mouse up and down on the screen while reeling in.
(holding the left mouse button down).  Try it a few times to 
get used to it.

Try to match the depth of the lure with the hicks swimming to 
maximize your chance of catching one.

When the music speeds up or you see tension on the rod, it
is a good sign that you may have a hick on the line.

SNAG the hick by quickly moving the mouse to the left or right
while reeling in. You can also hit the space bar or stop reeling 
in for a moment and then start reeling in again to try to snag 
the hick.  

If you don't see any hicks in the hick finder, or the hick
are just not biting, try using the calls, new tackle or return
to the map to select a new location.

In the full game there are a lot more hicks and lures, and not
all hicks go for any lure.  Find the right lure to get the big 
fish.  Then once the big one is snagged it takes a lot more 
skill to reel him in.  

In the full version of Fish's Revenge, gain lures by taking 
items from the hicks you have caught.  And if the game still 
does not sound tough enough, there are three different fishing 
locations, each one with its own type of hicks to find.  Catch 
all the hicks to get a secret item that is sure to move the 
balance of power to the fish forever...
