4) If Your Web Browser Fails to Launch When Connecting to the Toll-Free '800' Number

If your Web browser fails to launch when connecting to WebBullet Internet Service's toll-free '800' number, your Web browser is probably missing several essential files (system extensions). Regardless of the browser you have installed on your PC, if you install Microsoft Internet Explorer you will get the files needed to properly launch your Web browser.

To install Microsoft Internet Explorer insert the CD-ROM from which you installed WebBullet Internet Service and run the setup program d:\webbullet\msie30.exe (where d: is your CD-ROM drive). After installing Microsoft Internet Explorer, you will need to reboot and reinstall WebBullet Internet Service.

5) If Your Web Browser Launches, but Fails to Connect to WebBullet Internet Service Website

If your Web browser fails to connect to WebBullet Internet Service Website after installing the software and dialing our toll-free '800' number, it may be because you have preexisting Internet Service (from another company or through a LAN network card). When this occurs you may get a very long pause or a blank Web page after your Web browser is started, followed by a message stating, 'Unable to locate the server: registration.webbullet.com. The server does not have a DNS entry' or 'Cannot open the Internet site http://registration.webbullet.com'.

There is a simple solution. From your 'Control Panel' double-click on the Network icon | TCP/IP | Properties | DNS Configuration. Select 'Disable DNS'. After selecting 'OK' you will need to reboot. The next time you run WebBullet Internet Service's setup program, you will return to the same point in your installation and successfully connect.
