The instructions for this program are within the program- it is self-
documenting.

It requires that you have bought the DEAL A MEAL dieting program and know how 
to use it. Within that frame of reference, it allows you to computerize your 
diet plans.

We have attempted without success to reach Mr. Simmons and/or his 
representatives for 3 months. A letter sent to him via his publisher on 
September 9, 1987 has elicited no response. Since he is not interested in 
marketing this program, it is hearby given free to all who want it. The 
copyright is maintained and retained only to protect my future options. This 
is not shareware and it is not beggarware. Feel free to copy it to other 
BBS's. 

To run the program, you MUST have the following files on the disk (or in the 
same directory or path on a hard disk): DEALMEAL.EXE    DM.BAT  VIDPOP.COM  
and DEAL.LIB. Please resist the temptation to run DEALMEAL.EXE directly. Yes, 
I know it's an EXE file but unless it is run as the batch file runs it, you 
will get not a small amount of garbage on your screen.

With those four files present, type DM <ENTER> and sit back and wait. Be sure 
your printer is hooked up.

If you copy this program to other BBS's or make disks for distribution via a 
user's group, please do one of the following:
    a: be sure all four files are present, along with this READ.ME file
 
                                or
    b: copy the ARC file unaltered.
