                             Opening Format

The baseball season has come to an end. The Toronto Blue Jays have
their second world championship in a row. This series set or tied
several records. The 15-14 Toronto win will go down in the annals of
sports as one of the best games in history. With the hot-stove
leagues gearing up, and the what ifs?, we have a baseball game for
you this month in our reviews.

Okay, so baseball is over. Which means it is the end of October, and
Christmas is just around the corner. Looking for some suggestions?
Well, we have a list here that I think should please everyone. Of
the many programs that I have looked at over the year, these are
ones I would buy. I left out hardware, as I did review quite a bit,
but there is still a lot that I did not see.

I would like to bring your attenion to a special offer. Baseline
Data Systems, maker of Office Accelerator (reviewed in CTM9309.ZIP),
has extended a special offer to readers of CTM. Please read the
    article in this issue.

This month we take a look at harware, software, and even paper and
    accessories from Paper Direct.

Hardware: FotoMan Plus, and Intel OverDrive processor.

Software: WordScan Plus 2.0 for Windows, Tony LaRussa Baseball
2, Microsoft Pulisher 2.0, Print Shop Deluxe v1.2 for Windows,
        and PharmAssist for Windows.

In the shareware spotlight we look at Paint Shop Pro 2.0 for
    Windows, and WordFind for Windows.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. We will be back next month with another
    exciting issue.

    Tony Curro...
