Your mission is to lead your team to the goldmedal. You can choose between classics like the New York Rangers, Edmonton Oilers, Philadelphia Flyers and many others. The game is very easy, there is no offside rule, but we still have iceing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Track & Field 2 (KONAMI) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Graphics: 69 * Sound: 50 * Controll: 82 * Challenge: 85 * Overall: 87 * ------------------------------------------------------------------------- When Track & Field 2 were released in 1989 and became a mega success for KONAMI. no one had ever seen anything like it (the first part came two years later). You can play 16 different disciplins. I the beginning of the game you have to choose country and leave to join the "party" where you have to fight against 7 other nations to get the goldmedals. The tournament is split into 8 days. The first 4 days are very simple with only 3 diciplins per day. When these are over, it becomes very difficult. IT's the same 12 diciplins as the first 4 days, but now you need good results. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shadow Warrior 2 (TECMO) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Graphics: 88 * Sound: 75 * Controll: 93 * Challenge: 91 * Overall: 91 * ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shadow Warrior came for the NEs in the Fall '91. And now here it is, Shadow Warriors 2. The original titel was Ninja Gaiden, but after teachers and nurses became very angry when they herd the word ninja, that's why the european name is Shadow Warrior. But there's no doubt about, which Ruy Hayabusa is a real ninja. He's equiped whith all the assassintools like Shinobi-Zukin, Kusari- Katabira, Katana, Shuriken and Kagi-Nawa. Well this is a platformer with a lot of action. Before Ryu has reached his goal, he has to fight his way thru 7 worlds - which has 2 or 3 levels. Well i'm not a fan of this kind of games, but this one is quite good though, but if you're a fan of ninja games, then go on and buy this one... IT'S A GOLDEN CLASSIC. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ___ ___ _____ ___ ___ / \ / \ | \ / \ / \ |\ /| | | | | | | | | | | \ / | | |-------| |_____ / | | | | | | \ ___ / | | | \ ___ / \ ___ / | | SPECIAL - SPECIAL - SPECIAL - SPECIAL - SPECIAL - SPECIAL The History: It all started in the beginning of the 80's, when the little Japanese firm Capcom started to produce their first arcades, and after a while they became one of the best gamemakers. In 1984 Capcom made a concract with Nintendo. The first Nes-game was, Ghost 'n' Goblins, which sold very good all over the world, because of the arcade version which had been very popular. Capcom continued by relesing their biggest arcades in NES versions, which did quite good in Japan, USA and Europe. But when they started to make their own ideas, came the great successes. In the late 80's they had two big NES projects. One of them was a contract with Disney, which was, that they should meke a game about Disney's new Tv-serie. The other plan was to create their own tv-game hero, which should be the main person in a action platform game. The results of these to projects was Duck Tales and Mega Man (Rock Man). Today Capcom have released over 20 Disney games and 11 Mega Man games for Nintendos 3 consoles. There is'nt so many new NES games from Capcom. The only game Capcom is makeing right now, is Mega Man 6.
