Hi all you Duke fans. If there's anyone out there who disagrees with me
when I say Duke 3D is the best game of its genre ever designed, then
you know where you can go. <g> As some of you may know, I was the first
to find the complete list of cheats for Apogee's last action game, Rise
of the Triad. And whaddya know...here I am again a year later with the
DUKE NUKEM 3-D CHEATS. That's right. While the shareware version doesn't
have very many at all, what's here is useful...and I'm hoping to see
more in the registered version (particularly, one that toggles clipping
on and off. If you get stuck in a cycling sector with God mode on, well,
you're in trouble).

And now without further ado, the cheats:

REAL CODES
**********

DNCORNHOLIO     God mode toggle. Restores health to 100%.

DNKROZ		Same effect as DNCORNHOLIO. I think most players will
                prefer this version since it's so much shorter!

DNSTUFF		Gives you all weapons, keys, inventory items, armor,
		ammo, you name it, you got it here.

DNITEMS         Same as DNSTUFF, except no weapons or ammo added.

DNSCOTTY#,#     Level warp (#,# is episode, level number).

DNHYPER		Gives you steroids (activating them in the process).

MISC. CODES
***********

DNRATE		Shows actual frame rate (in frames per second) in upper
		left hand corner of the screen. Equally good for 		benchmarking both your super P6-200 with 64 megs ram 		and your 486 DX-2 66. <g>

DNVIEW		3rd-person view; same as F7. Message displayed on the
		screen is "N/A". In other words, this code shouldn't be
		here.

DNCASHMAN       Type once to activate "throwing money around" mode. Press
                SPACE to throw dollar bills all over the place. Type it
                again to turn it off.

MESSAGE-ONLY CODES

DNBETA		Displays "Pirates Suck!"

DNCOSMO		Displays "Register Cosmo today"

DNALLEN		Displays "Buy Major Stryker" -- a previous Allen Blum
		production? <g>


That's all the codes I could find in the EXE! Of course, if anyone
finds any more, please let me know, and I'll immediately post an
update to the code sheet. And hey -- just 2 or 3 months till the
registered version should be ready! Can't wait to get my hands on
that editor... <g>
