                JAMES F. C. ROSE
                124 Larchdale Crescent
                Winnipeg, Manitoba

    2. Disclaimer:

There is absolutely no representation made that the enclosed
information and wills will be correct and legal under the laws of any
certain area. No responsibility is given or accepted that the wills and
information will be fit for your exact purpose. While I have a
knowledge of wills, such knowledge cannot be transferred in one
short disk. There are thousands of books on wills, and the information
contained in same will be of use to you. In addition it is strongly
suggested that you retain the services of a lawyer to prepare a will,
or at least to check your work.

    3. Permission Given and Restrictions:

James Rose claims a copyright on "LAWYER'S WILLS".

You are hereby granted permission to copy this disk and distribute same
to others, as long as the whole of the disk is copied and without any
changes (including additions and deletions). This permission also extends
to your charging a small sum for your costs in the duplication of the
    disk.

In addition you are also granted permission to freely review all the
materials on this disk, without cost. However, if you use the materials
on this disk to make a will or wills, you must pay a registration fee
    for same.

This software program is not and never has been 'free-ware' or
'gift-ware' or the like. The conditions of its use are contained herein.

    4. Registration:

    A. The Complete Package:

All prices are quoted in U.S.A. funds. However, Canadians can pay by
Canadian checks - if you will just add the current exchange on U.S.A.
funds, to obtain that rate just telephone your bank and ask for their
current selling rate for U.S.A. funds. For example, if the bank's
selling rate for U.S.A. funds is $1.35 - that is you must pay $1.35
Canadian for every U.S.A. dollar, and thus $20 in U.S.A. funds would be
$20 times 1.35 = $27.00 Canadian. Also, make sure that you place the
correct postage on your letter to Canada, as it is a little more than to
mail a letter only in the U.S.A.

If you register your copy of this disk, you will receive:
    a) the right to use the disk/program to make will(s) forever, but only
wills for yourself and your immediate family, and without charge
    b) all 'updates' for a full year
    c) future information on this and other programs
    d) reduced rates for 'consultations'
    e) the telephone number for 'consultations'
    f) the three 5 1/4" double density disks of the "PC-WRITE 3.02" word
         processing program
    g) a registered copy of the 'wills' disk, on one 5 1/4" double density
        disk, similar to this disk
    h) another 5 1/4" double density disk with additional useful and/or
         interesting programs.

For further information on the above 'advantages', see below.

If you wish to register your copy of this program, and obtain all the
above stated advantages, the cost is only $20 (U.S.A. funds).

    B. The Partial Package:

However, if you wish only a) above ONLY, the cost is $10. However, you
will receive NONE of the other advantages.

These figures include all regular surface postage (not registration
or insurance), and all handling charges. Taxes, government or post
office surcharges, duties, custom fees, etc. are not included.

In order to register, send your check or money order (sending of cash
by mail is not suggested - but is accepted at your risk) to:

        JAMES ROSE
        124 Larchdale Crescent
        Winnipeg, Manitoba
        Canada, R2K 0C1

I am sorry, but we cannot guarantee the delivery of the materials to you,
or the condition in which they may be received, all we can do is to mail
same to you and leave the rest to the post office, thus after mailing the
delivery is in the hands of and the full responsibility of the post
office. If you wish to register (ie: registered mail) the mailing
(insurance is not available from Canada), you must enclose additional
funds to pay for same. Also, please note that your claim for any non
receipt will be with the post office and not myself, and all we will do
is to send you the proof of the registered mailing. Please enclose an
additional $5.00 (U.S.A. funds) for registered mail. Registered mail is
only available to Canada and the U.S.A.

Also, all disks will be 5 1/4 double density, for I.B.M. and compatibles
    - no others are available.

    Additional Information on Advantages:

    -Savings:

The following are just a few examples of your potential savings with
    full registration.

The costs of obtaining a simple will from a lawyer usually costs from
$150.00 to $200.00; and goes up greatly where you go beyond a very simple
will (usually leaving everything to your spouse). thus if you use this
program to make a will for yourself, you have already saved at least
$150.00; and if you use the program to make a will for your spouse you
have saved probably another $150.00 - for a total savings of $300.00.

Your reduced price 'consultations' will also cause you unlimited
    savings.

The three disks of "PC-WRITE" are shareware that normally sell for
about $5.00 a disk, for a total of $15.00; in fact if you buy this
directly from PC-WRITE the cost is $19.00 plus $5.00 to $8.00 for
shipping costs. However, I have seen some sell shareware at up to
    $12.95 a disk. Thus a savings of from $15.00 to $38.85.

    -Consultations:

There are two types on 'consultations':
    a) The first type of 'consultation' is with regard to the subject of
    'wills'
    b) The second type of 'consultation' is with regard to the computer
    program itself.
As to a), the subject matter of wills, please be advised that the answers
that I will give on the subject of 'wills' will be that in my own
geographical area which may or may not have the same law as in your area.
As to b), the computer program itself, I am not a computer expert, and the
best answer to most problems would first to obtain another copy of the
disk from where ever you got same; and if this does not solve your problem
to order a 'complete' copy of PC-Write from me and use this disk/program
    with same.

    -Additional 'consultations'
My regular hourly rate for all 'consultations' is $175.00 an hour,
with a minimum charge of $20.00 for five minutes. However, during the
first year of your complete registration (not the partial registration) my
rate will be half that stated, and in addition you will be protected from
any future increases in this rate for the period of the first year of
your registration. You must pay the long distance telephone charges.

    -PC-WRITE 3.02:

Here is the sales pitch for PC-WRITE 3.02.

PC-Write is a great word processing program, and it is a shareware
program, that lets you try same before deciding to register. PC-Write
is one of the most popular word processing programs in use, and it is
contained, in full, on three complete five and a quarter DS/DD disks.
This is available from myself. The disks include an 18 page "PC-Write
Tutorial", a 75 page "PC-Write Quick Guide", and an extensive "Help"
file. If you like the PC-Write program, and you will, after trying it
out, you can register it with the authors. Registration itself is only
$25; but you can also purchase other packages that can also include
consultations, and other products like a 480 page "PC-Write User's
    Manual".

I could go on for pages, but let me mention a few items:
-45 on-line help screens, comprehensive enough to teach you the whole
    program
-You can start with basic lessons, including an introduction to
computers and DOS that lets you work with PC-WRITE even if you've
    never used a computer before.
-You can cover basic editing in the 14 lesson tutorial.
-The manual tells you all you need - from how to do basic commands to
    how to customize control files.
-50,000 word list, and you can add your own list.
-Create two different windows on-screen to compare two different drafts
    of the same report.
    -Count the number of words.
-Tells you the number of lines.
-Edit two ends of the same file in windows.
-Grab text for your current document from a different file.
-Mark text you need in one file and append it to another file.
-Clip text from a non PC-WRITE file.
-Keep track of locations with bookmarks.
-You can create columns of work.
-Use 22 fonts in the same document.
-Works with more than 700 different printers.
-Use automatic timed file savings, based upon time or number of
    keystrokes
    -automatic spelling check.
    -mail merge.
-File size limited only by DOS memory.
-Five different kinds of right and left margins.
    -Guesses spelling for you.
-Use function keys or Lotus style menus.
    -Many Wordstar commands also supported.
    -Use mouse.
    -Use menu.
    -Custom keyboards.
    -Search and replace.
    -Head notes and foot notes.
-Large ability for custom page layout.
    -etc.
    -etc.

    Requirements:
-Supports, including: IBM PC, IBM AT, IBM PS/2, PCjr, Tandy 1000s, and
    their clones.
    -Needs DOS 2.1 or higher.
-Display is normal 25 line, 43 line EGA, others.
-448 KB RAM, or 320 KB RAM if no spell check is used.

    Additionally:
PC-LITE is also available (however, not from myself). It is similar to
PC-WRITE but with not quite as many features, and requires only 384 KB
or 256 if no spell check is used.

    -WILLS - disk:

The registered disk will be much the same as this disk, but with the
    following additions (as stated below).

    -Additional Programs:

The registered disk of wills will also contain some additional programs
that you may find useful or entertaining. These may not be related to
wills. I do not state which ones, as I change the ones that I place on
the disks as new ones come to my notice. The programs could be a clock
(with an alarm) that displays constantly on your screen, different
    games, who knows.
