The HOMECRAFT PERSONAL JOURNAL
Vol. 1 Issue 1

This issue is contained in a self extracting file called HPJ-01.EXE.

To install the HPJ you will need 800K of free disk space. We recommend
installing the HPJ on a hard drive to improve the speed at which the
graphics are displayed.

To install on a hard disk:

1) Get the DOS prompt for your hard drive on the screen. In most cases
this will be the C> prompt.

2) Set your hard disk for the root directory by typing: CD \ <push ENTER>.

3) Make a new directory for the HPJ by typing: MD HPJ01 <push ENTER>.

4) Then type: CD HPJ01 <push ENTER> to change to that directory.

5) Put the HPJ floppy disk in your "A" disk drive. (If it goes in the
"B" drive, substitute "B" each time these instructions specify "A").
Type: A:HPJ-01 and push ENTER. This will extract the files from the archive
copy them to your hard disk. Then type HPJ to start the software.
