ICR:"Back to Genesis" Report

Three very-well attended and effective "Back to Genesis seminars
were held during the month of February.

The first, in the Portland, Oregon area, sponsored by the Beaverton
Nazarene Church, attracted approximately 2500 attendees. ICR has held
major seminars there the past two years and have found interest is
growing, with many attending for the third time. Glowing testimonies
abounded concerning the fruit of the prior seminars and the relevance
of the Creation message.

Two simultaneous seminars were held in Tampa and Orlando, Florida,
in the facilities of the First Baptist Church of Clearwater and the
Orangewood Presbyterian Church of Maitland. Strong creation-advocacy
groups already exist in both areas who spearheaded the advance
preparation. Former ICR biology-chairman, Dr. Gary Parker, was invited
to share in the teaching. The total attendance was approximately 2500.

As noted elsewhere in this issue, a free seminar was given to school
children in each area. The total number of students reached in this
manner exceeded 13,500.

The ICR scientists conducted services in several local churches
following each seminar.
