ICR:ICR Graduate School Accredited by TRACS

The Trans-National Association of Christian Schools (TRACS), at its
semi-annual Board Meeting on February 23, granted full accreditation to
the ICR Graduate School, following a self-study site visit by a TRACS
team, and detailed report by the latter. The ICR Graduate School had
previously been a "Candidate for TRACS Accreditation." At the same
meeting, the TRACS Board reaffirmed the accreditation of Christian
Heritage College and granted "Associate" status to the Nashville Bible
College in Tennessee.

   TRACS accreditation identifies post-secondary educational
institutions that are both academically strong and sound doctrinally,
and which are committed to creationism and full Biblical authority in
all programs. Secular accrediting agencies, on the other hand, have in
many instances influenced Christian colleges to dilute their doctrinal
and philosophical convictions in the interest of "academic freedom and
"general education" as a prerequisite to accreditation by them.

Educators who have worked with both TRACS teams and these other
agencies have agreed that the calibre of the TRACS academic evaluation
is fully as rigorous as those of the other agencies, as well as being
more fair and helpful. The TRACS team that investigated ICR consisted
of four highly qualified educators (two with the Th.D.; two with
science Ph.D. degreesone in biology; one in physics).

"Science, Scripture and Salvation" Heard Over 150 Radio Stations

ICR's weekly broadcast, "Science, Scripture, and Salvation" is being
heard over 150 stations around the United States, and is now heard
overseas in many countries via shortwave. Recently, Trans-World Radio,
out of Monaco, has begun beaming the 15-minute program to Great Britain
over frequency 9480 kHz on the 31-metre band, Sundays at 10:45 a.m.
(UT).

Once again, an interesting array of broadcasts will be heard in
April. In the first week, Dr. Henry Morris will conclude his two-part
series on "Science, Scripture, and a Young Earth," as he responds to
Calvin College Professor Davis Young's attack on the Biblical doctrine
of a young earth. This will be followed by a program with Dr. Andrew
Peterson, ICR Adjunct Professor, discussing Biblical counseling
principles that can be gleaned from Genesis.

On the weekend of April 21-22, Dr. Dmitry Kuznetsov, winner of the
prestigious 1983 Lenin Komosol Prize in Science in the Soviet Union,
will share his creationist and Christian testimony. Dr. Kuznetsov
visited ICR earlier this year, and gave a talk to its staff to express
his gratitude for the support that ICR has given him in his creationist
research in Moscow.

Finally, Ken Ham will answer the most frequently asked questions
about Genesis on our last broadcast in April, such as, "Where did Cain
get his wife?"

ICR would like to acknowledge, with appreciation, the efforts of
Ambassador Advertising Agency of Fullerton, California, for their
excellent efforts in not only producing and distributing the programs,
but in finding many more stations to broadcast the vital message of
creation.
