BBB:The stars of heaven fighting by Ulf Oldenburg

"There comes a star out of Jacob, and a sceptre out of Israel, and
He shall cut in pieces the corners of Moab, and destroy all the sons of
tumult. And Edom shall be a possession, and Seir a possession, - they,
his enemies; but Israel will do valiantly. -

Alas! Who shall live when God does this? And ships shall come from
the coasts of Chittim, and afflict Asshur, and afflict Eber, and he
also shall be for destruction." (Numbers 24:17-24).

This star of Jacob who shall crush all the enemies of Israel is
depicted in the flag of Israel. This six-edged Star is the Star of
Jacob, and He shall destroy all His enemies, for God fights for Israel.
How terrible is such a banner!

God has given the country Canaan, the Promised land, to Israel as an
everlasting possession, and the Holy Bible is their Title of it. God
has chastised His beloved people, but He has never taken away from them
His gift.

This war which is going on in Israel today is described in
Revelation 12:7-10:

"And there was a war in heaven: Michael and his Angels went to war
with the dragon. And the dragon fought, and his angels; and they
prevailed not, nor was there place found any more in heaven. And the
great dragon was cast out, the ancient serpent, he who is called the
devil and satan, he who deceives the whole habitable earth, he was cast
out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

And I heard a great voice in heaven saying, Now is come the
salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority
of His Christ; for the accuser of our brethren has been cast out, who
accused them before our God day and night."

   Michael and his Angels are fighting for Israel, God's chosen people;
satan and his angels are fighting for the enemies of Israel, and they
have only one thought: to drive Israel into the Mediterranean Sea, and
to wipe out Israel. It is noteworthy that the same countries who hate
israel also persecute the true Christians, they are inspired by satan
who hates God and His elect. For satan knows that if he does not
overcome the saints, they will overcome him, and the kingdom on earth
will be God's and His Messiah shall rule, exactly as the text says.

When Israel was attacked in the rear by Amalek in the desert, Israel
seemed to be crushed by this surprise attack. But then Moses went up on
top of the hill. And it came to pass when Moses raised his hand, that
Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand Amalek prevailed. This
is the ministry of intercession. When we pray for Israel and stand in
the gap before God, Israel overcomes and roots out his enemies. But
when we let down our hands, the enemies of Israel prevail. The great
war of 1967 was not won by the arms of men but by the power of God who
answered the prayers of saints all over the world, and many Jews saw
Moses and Elijah fighting for Israel in the firing line where the
struggle was hardest. So it is also with this war.

Blessed are they who bless and protect the Jews, God's chosen
people. Cursed is every nation who accuses and fights against Israel,
for they are the apple of God's eye. I testify before all nations:
Every nation which stretches out it's hand against Israel, shall
perished and be no nation ever more. This is the retribution from the
Almighty and righteous God.

"Curse Meroz, says the Angel of Yahweh; curse, curse the inhabitants
thereof; for they came not to the help of Yahweh, to the help of Yahweh
among the mighty, when Israel was in great travail and oppressed by
their enemies." (Judges 5:23). Thus shall the Lord do to those who do
not assist His people in the hour of their desperate need. Any Jew or
Christian who does not assist his brother in need, shall be cut off as
a branch from the true olive tree. For as we do to the brethren of
Jesus, the Jews, thus shall it be done to us, says the King of Kings.

"Imagine not in your heart that you shall escape in the king's
house, more than all the Jews. For if you altogether hold your peace at
this time, then there shall arise relief and deliverance to the Jews
from another place; but you and your father's house shall perish. And
who knows whether you are not come to the kingdom for such a time as
this?" Mordecai said to Queen Esther. Esther was a Jewess, and the
bride of Jesus is s true Jewess, exactly as Romans 2:29 says, and we
have come to this high grace for a purpose, that we shall bear abundant
fruit. As salvation has come to us from the Jews, so salvation shall
come to the Jews from the bide of Jesus, for queen Esther, the morning
star, represents the bride of Jesus, the Lion of Judah.

The wicked Haman had determined the definite destruction of the
Jewish people, because he hated Mordecai, who refused to do homage to
anyone but God. No Jew could come before the King of King's to ask for
mercy without being called. Only Queen Esther might intercede before
the King; and she hazarded her own life, saying, "If I perish, I
perish!" In deepest dedication she came before the King pleading for
mercy upon her people, and the King stretched out the golden sceptre
towards her, and she obtained grace in his sight, and her petition was
heard. The Jews were saved and their enemies defeated, and Haman was
hanged on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai, Hallelujah!

Our Jewish brother has not yet accepted Jesus as his Messiah. But
God is about to lift the veil from his face that he may see Him who was
pierced (Zechariah 12:10). But we who have Jesus Messiah as the King of
our lives can come confidently to His mercy-seat by His precious Blood
and obtain help in due season. The King is waiting for our petition for
our brother Jacob, and He will save him as an answer to our prayer.

This mighty war against satan and his angels who inspire the enemies
of Israel is not won by Michael and his Angels, but by the bride of
Jesus, who just as queen Esther intercedes before the throne for her
brethren. Therefore we read (in Revelation 12:11), "For they have
overcome him (the accuser of our brethren) by the blood of the Lamb,
and by the word of their testimony, and they have not loved their life
even unto death." These true overcomers by the Blood of Jesus are not
Angels, nor Israel according to the flesh, but Israel according to the
Spirit. They love their brethren, the Jews, and give their lives for
them. Do you, my dear Christian brother, give your life for your Jewish
brethren? Do you intercede like Esther with fasting day and night for
the salvation of Israel? If you do not, you are not Esther, nor do you
belong to the bride of the Lamb.

The nations wash their hands like Pilate, the false church rejoices
like Herod; but the little bride of Jesus travails with birth pangs for
her beloved brother Jacob, and her petition is heard and Israel is
saved.

Behold, our Bridegroom is coming! This is the test of His bride.
