The new release builds on GeoWorks Ensemble's high performance and ease-of-use, providing a range of additional features, including a GeoWrite spelling checker, support for more than 300 additional printers, including Postscript-compatible printers, and Tetris(tm), the popular Russian computer game. Version 1.2 allows GeoWrite users to access a spelling checker containing a 100,000-word dictionary, and to maintain a large personal lexicon. The new release provides users that require advanced printing capability with support for black & white Postscript(tm) printers. Version 1.2 also offers international preferences for date, time and currency; a comprehensive, DOS-based diagnostic help system to facilitate installation; an expanded library of 50 new program icons for the DOS Room; several screen savers; and a library of document templates for small businesses, including memos, invoices and purchase orders. The upgrade is scheduled to ship in June or early July. It will be sent to all registered users free of charge and will be available in retail outlets at the end of June. GeoWorks Ensemble(tm) consists of PC/GEOS(tm), the company's multitasking, windowing graphical environment and seven integrated productivity applications designed to run on the full family of IBM-compatible PCs.
