Overview:

The telnet protocol is an application that logs on to other computers to obtain information. Both computers must use/support the telnet protocol in order for telnet to work.

It fixes many bugs and has a redesigned interface that is not only easier to use and configure than NCSA Telnet, but still has as much as if not more configuration flexibility compared to NCSA Telnet. All configuration options from NCSA Telnet are still in BetterTelnet.
