emergency: "The squalor in my own life." Nevertheless, Jerry
reclaims the keys and gives them to Elaine. Kramer's
chagrined, but it may be academic because he has caught "The
acting bug," and says that "Californy" is the place he ought
to be. Meanwhile, Jerry's locked out and Elaine's not around.
But George has a set of keys to her place. So he and Jerry

                 Fourth Season (1992 - 1993)
Date Time(ET) Title and Synopsis
Aug 12 9:00 The Trip, Part I (Season Premiere)
Jerry and George embark on a quest for Kramer in Part I of a
two part 4th season opener. When last seen, Kramer was acting
in his second professional role (Remember his line in the
Woody Allen movie?), as one of the permanently temporary
secretaries on Murphy Brown. But since then, the harsh
realities of Hollywood have set in. Murphy won't take his
calls, and he has to join everyone auditioning for everything.
But he does win a new actress friend (Debi A. Monahan as
Chelsea), who's interested in his film treatment. Sadly, the
young star (Fred Savage as himself) Kramer accosts in a coffee
shop isn't. Meanwhile, the quest for Kramer is a quest of
convienence for Jerry. He has a Tonight Show gig and the
chance to bring a guest along. He chooses George. Bad
choice. Just ask guest stars George Wendt and Corbin Bernsen.
