Here is a satellite tracking program which I converted from
"sattrack.c" source file. This program will display a table
of times and positions for a desired satellite as it passes
over an observer on the ground. There are many such programs
for PC's and Mac's, but I haven't seen one for the HP48.

This information is useful to Amateur Radio operators who
can communicate with satellites only when they are above the
horizon. It may also be useful to the curious to find out when
the Space Shuttle STS-59 or the Russian space station MIR are
overhead. If you have a scanner, you can listen to MIR and
STS-59 (scheduled to launch on April 8) in the 2 meter Amateur
Radio band at 145.550 Mhz. Both stations will usually be running
packet (you'll hear short bursts of tones that sound like
noise), but sometimes they will switch over to voice. For those
that don't have radios, these two objects are actually quite
visible when they pass overhead at dawn or dusk when they are
illuminated by sunshine but it is still dark on the ground.

The program requires about 11K to load and run. I have run
it on an HP48SX, and assume it will also work on an HP48G/GX
as it is all user RPL.
