Comments:

.At the time of this document, My past experiences don't include
playing the Sega Saturn or Nintendo Ultra 64. Comparisons are based on
the following points:
- Opinions from gaming mags on Sega Saturn and Ultra 64
- Against the Intel Pentiums and x86's
- Against past systems such as SNES and Genesis (I know it's not really
that fair, but that's just one way to give non-PSX-experienced players)
- Closeness arcade standards

Judging from the games currently available, extreme closeness to arcade
standards has already been proved in the capabilities of the PSX.
NBA Jam T.E. for one, has never been so close to the arcade version on
ANY home system to date. Everything from details like the birth date
entry at the beginning to the obvious like the graphics and sound have
been ported over to the PSX in high detail.

Ridge Racer, is deffinately a winner over Virtua Racing and Datona USA
in the racing area. Yes, I'm refering to PSX Ridge Racer vs. 32X Virtua
Racing and Arcade Datona! I haven't played Saturn yet, but the displayed
one at my local game store doesn't look 1/2 as good as the arcade.

And then ofcourse, there's MK3, the reigning game of the 90's is
deffinately the highest point to the PSX release. Yours truly has
had the privilage of playing the beta version of MK3 PSX and I'd
have to say the it IS the BEST game I have ever played!

PSX vs. SEGA 32X

I think this is a fair comparison since they're both 32-BIT systems.
Then there's the fact that 32X is an add-on to Genesis, an old system,
unlike the PSX.

GRAPHICS: PSX; by far better animated and with the fact that the PSX
          displays 16.7 million colors while 32X displays 32 768.

SOUND: PSX; From experience, 32X uses mostly the cheap-sounding mono
.sound system that the Genesis uses while the PSX uses Stereo
.CD QSound. But then, if you have a 32X with a Genesis that
.already has a Sega CD, then 32X CD games with QSound can be played.

GAMES: Lookin at the huge library of games for the PSX, 32X has no chance.

PSX vs. SuperNES

This isn't exactly fair since 32-BIT systems are 2 times (and +) the power
of 16-BIT systems like the SNES.

GRAPHICS: PSX; PSX=16.7 million colors, SNES=32 768 colors

SOUND: Well, CD Qsound is an advantage but PSX wins by far!

GAMES: Yeah, SNES has a huge library of games but then the PSX has a whole
.library coming. Judging from the titles, PSX rules!

That's it for now, learn to exept Sega bashing, you'll experience it for
the next few years. I say PSX rules! No e-mail messages on this comment,
it's too much for my mailbox.
