MAGNIFIR.TXT

The Tesla Magnifier circuit here shows one of several possible
tank circuit configurations. Which tank circuit is employed is
not really important until very high break rates (over 1200 BPS)
are obtained from the rotary break. High break rates are desired,
as they increase the amount of power that can be processed by the
circuit. When these increases are obtained by using faster, more
sophisticated, rotary breaks; the tank circuit configuration
shown delivers significantly better performance.

This diagram is intended to show the uncoupled end resonator. The
circuit uses close coupling between the primary and secondary
coil. This close coupling gives a much higher efficiency transfer
of energy between the two coils. The end resonator (or "Extra-
coil") is base fed by transmission line from the top of the
secondary "driver" coil in the circuit.
