This is a program that is primarily for doing calculations for
Air Navigation, given Departure Lat Long, and Destination Lat
Long, along with Air Speed, Fuel Consumption, Wind Direction
and Speed it will calculate the Heading between the two Lat &
Long that you specified, it will also Calculate Ground Speed
and the Fuel Consumption and the Time that the flight will
take.
Their are a number of things to note when using this program:
1) Enter wind direction in degrees TRUE, else you will end up
in the middle of the Atlantic with your fuel contaminted
   by air.
2) The program uses a method of calculating distances that is
good only for a max distance of 500nm, greater distance than
that and you will get errors.
3) Make sure you are consistent when enter units, ie do not
enter wind speed in Knots and you Air speed in Miles/Hour.

I would like to change the program so that a data base of
airport Latitudes and Longitudes could be stored, say 5 of
them, if you have a look at this program you will see that I
am not extremly experienced so any suggestions on how to do this
would be appreciated. Also if you are really keen you might
suggest a method for getting the program to convert the Heading to
magnetic, I actually don't think this would be very hard and
should'nt require the user to enter any more info since the 48
already has a clock and date built in. If some one wants to try
this then they are free to edit the program.

NOTE:When entering Lat's and Long's to get past the degree signs
and decimal marks use the right arrow key. Also make sure and
the right number of digits, ie if you are at 36.44.01E then enter
it as 036.44.01, this is important! same for directions, express
them as a 3 digit figure.
Finally the Author (Alistair Grant) accepts no responsiblity for
damage caused by use of this program.
