Smile using interface, described in the season7 - read.me file.

At the MAX232, pin 2 delivers
    +10 V and pin 6 delivers -10 V. (also connected to 74LS07:
                                           pin 7=GND, pin 14=VCC)

Pay attention to the polarity of the capacitors (marked with a + in the
diagram next to each capacitor)! It is not necessary to ground unused
chip input pins.

Smile understands command line options:

   ? : mini help,
a : active mode ( where PC emulate the smart cart )
p : PC only listen data transfer between a decoder and a real card.
The parameter p is not needed.
   1 : com 1
   2 : com 2
   3 : com 3
   4 : com 4

sample : smile a 1 (active mode on com 1)
or : smile 2 (passive mode on com 2)

I have ECHOSTAR SR-70VC decoder, and Smile works well in this configuration.
Please, mail Me if the Smile doesn't work on Your Hardware's.

IMPORTANT: It is illegal to watch pay-TV programs without a subscription
in the countries in which a regular subscription is available
(for the Sky channels, these are currently Great Britain and
Northern Ireland). The legal situation in other countries
is unclear, but as it is currently tolerated that e.g. in
Germany and Sweden so-called pirate or clone cards are sold,
using this software in other countries should be no problem
at the moment. There is perhaps also no problem if you have
already a regular subscription for the channels and want
to use this software only for educational purposes. THE AUTHOR
