Others are scrambled most of the time during the "real thing". Sometimes, the best info on plane landings and limo locations and such can be obtained through regular airport communications and local police. The PL used extensively by USSS is 103.5 Hz. Hearing the callsign "Air Force 1" means the President is on the plane. "Air Force 2" is the Vice President's plane. I've never heard the "suit radios" listed above. ****************************************************************************** * Namenet : Myles Barkman aka 'Scanman' Texas A&M University * * Hamnet : KG5AI College Station TX * * Internet : mab3474@venus.tamu.edu RACES y * * Bitnet : mab3474@tamvenus ARES * * Packetnet : kg5ai@w5ac.tx.usa.na SKYWARN * * ICBMnet : 30.606 N 96.316 W Where are all the tornadoes? * ****************************************************************************
