Log to A: type P100 and enter. Note the two scroll bars one to the left and one to the right of the centre window, click and drag the LEFT HAND scroll bar about half way down the screen , when you release the mouse button a number which relates to timing speed will appear on screen. We recomend you try 7200 first as a starting point. adjust the bar untill a successfull chipping of V1.0 has been done, note the speed selected for next time. NOTE:-THE PROGRAM WILL NOT WORK AT ALL IF THE LEFT SCROLL BAR IS NOT PROPERLY ADJUSTED WITH YOUR MOUSE .DO NOT adjust the right hand scroll bar, this is factory set. Functions within the window can be mouse selected or use the TAB key to rotate around the selection buttons. Use TAB key to select ESN window, enter ESN without spaces or slashes eg:-01010012345 and press enter, the selection window will now show chipping options. Again mouse or TAB key and enter to select. On screen LABELS: 1. EARLY P4 = P4 versions V2.0 to 3.2 (Thin aerial) 2. MEDIUM P4 = P4 versions 3.4 to 3.6 (Thin aerial) 3. P100/LATE P4 = Versions V1.3 to V1.8(Thick aerial P4 and Early P100) 4. LATE P100 = P100 version 1.0 PLEASE NOTE:- IT takes about 90 seconds to chip the phone, after the first few bleeps there will be no sound or other on screen indication that anything is happening. DO NOT be tempted to disconnect the phone or take any other action untill the two red EXIT windows "wobble" and the new ESN is displayed on the screen of the phone. When programming P100/LATE P4(V1.3 to V1.5))it will be necessary to change the software rom while programming and replace the original software rom afterwards. NOTE: Some customers report that they have been able to program these versions without rom changing, we have not found this to be so but it may be worth trying. N.B. the rumor has it that if it is a 1.5 p100 with a toshiba processor it can be blown as a 1.0 (not proven to me yet!)
