NO TRUTH IN RUMOURS OF ERICSSON MOBILE PHONES
According to a question raised in this media Tuesday the 5th of March 1996, by
Mr. Andrew Chan (lhchan@asiaonline.net), Ericsson Radio Systems AB would like
to give the following answer:
There is, to our knowledge, no governmental action what so ever against usage
of handheld mobile telephones in any country in Europe or elsewhere in the
world.
In fact, the GSM Memorandum of Understanding stated, during there worldwide
conference in Cannes, that there are more than 12 million GSM telephones in
use. Ericsson have approximately 25% of this market.
For further information, please turn with confidence to your local Ericsson
office.
Ericsson Radio Systems AB, Sweden.
