PFL0221D.EXE
------------

The PFL0221D.EXE is a selfextracting zipfile.


UNPACK
------

Put the file PFL0221D.EXE in an empty directory on your
harddisk. While in that directory just run the file.

The zipped file contains 13 files.

 FL022_1D.EXE     -        The Flash program itself.
 12501R1B.FLH     -        The file used to recover from crashed upgrade.
 25005R1H.FLH     -        The actual program file(Software date: 940810)
 1.BAT            -        Start flash program on COM 1.
 2.BAT            -        Start flash program on COM 2.
 1R.BAT           -        Start flash program in recovery
                           mode on COM 1.
 2R.BAT           -        Start flash program in recovery
                           mode on COM 2.
 1.PIF            -        Program information file for MS Windows 3.1. 
                           Starts flash program on COM 1.
 2.PIF            -        Program information file for MS Windows 3.1. 
                           Starts flash program on COM 2.
 1R.PIF           -        Program information file for MS Windows 3.1. 
                           Starts flash program on COM 1 in recovery mode.
 2R.PIF           -        Program information file for MS Windows 3.1. 
                           Starts flash program on COM 2 in recovery mode.
 HELP.BAT         -        Displays information about the program switches.  
 FLASH.ICO        -        A Windows Icon.


FL022_1D.EXE
------------

FL022_1D.EXE is designed to run in DOS 3.3 on a 386-IBM Compatible computer or
better.

The FL022_1D.EXE file is the shell used to load the FLH files into the 
telephone. There are a number of program switches witch can be attached 
when starting the program:

/C 1     Will start the program configured for COM port one.
/C 2     Will start the program configured for COM port two
/R       Will start the program in Recovery Mode. Please consult the Service
         Manual for further instructions.
/D       Will force German texts.
/M       Will set the display colours to monochrome mode.
/?       Will display information about the above program switches.

Example: To start the program without using the .BAT files in recovery mode
configured for COM port two: FL022_1D /C 2 /R
 
To get help on these switches please type HELP at the Dos prompt while in  
the directory containing the HELP.BAT and FL022_1D.EXE files.


.PIF files   (Do not use under windows)
----------
Some .PIF files are included as a possibility to run FL022_1D.EXE through MS
Windows 3.1. This may not work on every computer and Ericsson Mobile
Communications AB takes no responsibility for causes that may occur during 
these circumstances. The supplied .PIF files are only a suggestion for 
running the Flash program in Windows 3.1. You may have to modify this file 
to suit your purpose. 

There is also an Icon for Windows supplied with the disk.
 
Note : Be sure to set the COM port options in the Windows Control Panel 
to highest possible speed and the flow control to HARDWARE.

Service Manual.
