BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Winroids is a version of the popular game "Asteroids" for the Windows
environment.  It features 256 colour ray traced graphics, high speed 
action and full multimedia sound.


SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

A fast 386 or 486 computer - 386/33 should probably be considered a
minimum, though the game is playable on a 386/25.

Windows 3.1 or higher.

A soundcard (optional).


DISTRIBUTION NOTES

Winroids is shareware - distribute it among your friends... but please
pay the small registration fee if you like it.

VERSION HISTORY

v2.0 256 colour graphics support and larger sprites for machines that
     can take the pace.  Resource compression scheme developed so that 
     Winroids doesn't eat stacks of hard disk space.  Music now repeats 
     correctly.

v1.1 Fixed bug that caused Gravis drivers to crash at the end of levels
     on faster machines (486/33+)
