The "Europe!" software package is a fun and colorful way to become
fluent in basic European geography.  It is effective for both children
and adults.

The "Europe!" software package may freely be copied or sold, by anyone,
to anyone, any number of times, without royalty, to or from any machine
or disk, for any reason.  Please pass it along to friends, local schools,
or others who can benefit from its use.  Please provide this latest 
version of "Europe!" to others that may have an older version.  You may
not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble this software.

Although the "Europe!" software package is a complete product in itself,
it also serves as level 1 of the "Around the World!" software package.
Further information on this software is available by selecting "INFO"
when you exit the "Europe!" game package.  If you do not wish to see
this information, simply select "exit" at that time.

"Around the World!" is in use in schools and other training facilities 
in the United States, Europe and Australia, and is in use on home 
computers all over the world.


INSTALLATION AND STARTUP

To install the "Europe!" software package you only need 
to copy a single file called "eurowin.exe" to your hard drive.  
You can use the Windows "File Manager" or the DOS "copy" command for 
this purpose.

Next set up a program item using the program manager "File / New" 
menu selections.  To encourage usage, we recommend installing the 
file in a "Games" program group.

To start the software, simply double click the provided World icon,
or use other Windows methods for starting a program.  You can also 
run the software directly from your diskette or floppy drive if 
preferred.  

You may also wish to copy this document file "eurowin.txt" to your 
hard drive.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

"Europe!" requires a 100% compatible IBM computer, Windows 
3.1 or later, 1 Mb of free RAM, a VGA monitor or better, and a mouse.  
The software was tailored for 640 X 480 monitor resolution (standard 
VGA).

This software package contains four European geography quiz games:

	1)  countries,
	2)  capitals,
	3)  exports,
	4)  major geographical features.

The software contains on line help:  select the ??? icon wherever
it appears.

Torpedo Software will send you a copy of "Around the World!" with your
registration of "Europe!".  The cost is $14, or the equivalent in your
currency.  See the "INFO" section when you exit "Europe!" for payment
instructions, and for ordering information for countries outside the 
USA. For orders outside the USA (except Canada), please include $5.00 
shipping and handling.  You can use the file "order.txt" to order the 
software if you wish.  Please note that "Around the World!" is not 
shareware, but copyrighted software.
