                    RS_CALC.EXE Version 1.0

NOTES TO USERS:
1. All files included in this package with the extension of WRI are in 
Microsoft Windows Write format. Additional information and a registration
form are in RSC_READ.WRI. License and copyright information are in LICENSE.WRI.

2. VBRUN100.DLL (VBRUN.ZIP), dated May 10, 1991 or later, is required 
to run this program.

3. The scroll bars used in these programs have limits set on the travel to increase their resolution and usefulness. These limits vary on different programs from 1000 to 5000 units.

4. Scroll bars are formatted with maximum values at the top or right.

5. The scroll bars are restricted by Visual Basic to integer numbers. If 
you have entered a decimal number in the text box and then move the scroll 
bar it will change the results to integers.

6. The file RLOG.DAT is required to be in the same directory as RS_CALC.EXE for this application to operate.

7. Help is available in standard Windows format - ELCALC.HLP. It must be in the same directory as RS_CALC or in a directory in your PATH statement.

INSTALLATION:
1. In your Windows directory make a sub-directory ELCALC and change to that directory:

	MD ELCALC<Enter>
	CD ELCALC<Enter>

2. Copy the files to the ELCALC sub-directory:

	COPY A:*.* C:<Enter>

3. If disk space is limited, erase the ZIP file from the sub-directory:

	ERA *.ZIP<Enter>

4. Start Windows:

	CD ..<Enter>
	WIN<Enter>

5. Start the File Manager and reduce the size of the File Manager window so that part of the Program Manager window is visible.

6. Go to the ELCALC sub-directory and use the mouse to drag the RS_CALC.EXE icon to the Program Manager window and drop it.

7. Close the File Manager and drag the RS_CALC icon to the appropriate Program Manager group and drop it.

8. Double-click on the RS_CALC icon to start the application.
