Uninstall Instructions for A Day at the Races

PLEASE NOTE:  If you are installing the registered version
of "A Day at the Races" you do NOT need to uninstall the
shareware version first.  The "A Day at the Races" install
program will copy over your old files and program icons with
new ones.

Uninstalling "A Day at the Races" from your hard drive is 
simple.  There are two main steps: 1)  deleting the program 
files from your hard drive and 2) deleting the program from
the Start Menu Programs.    

However, you need to know first if "A Day at the Races" 
is the only LatticeWork Software program installed.  To do 
this, click on "Start", then move up to "Programs" and over and
down to "LatticeWork Software."  If "A Day at the Races" 
is the only program item in LatticeWork Software, go to 
A)  Uninstalling the program and the LatticeWork Software group.  
If, however, you have other LatticeWork Software installed, and 
wish to uninstall only "A Day at the Races", go to 
B) Uninstalling the program but not the LatticeWork Software group.

	
A)  UNINSTALLING THE PROGRAM AND THE LATTICEWORK SOFTWARE GROUP

	1.  Delete the program files from your hard drive
	    a.  Click on Start/Programs/Microsoft Explorer.
                Click once on "Lattice" to highlight it, not on 
                the + to the left of it.  Select "Delete" from the 
                "File" menu.
 	    b.  When you are sure you no longer want these files
                double-click on the Recycle Bin on your desktop,
                and select "Empty Recycle Bin" from the "File" menu.
	2.  Remove the program and group from the Start Menu Programs
	    a.  Click on Start/Settings/Taskbar.  Select the
                "Start Menu Programs" tab.  Click "Remove" and click
    		on "LatticeWork Software", to highlight it.  Do not 
		click on the + to the left of it.  If you did, now
		click on the - to the left of it.  Click "Remove."
	3.  Your uninstall is complete.

	
B)  UNINSTALLING THE PROGRAM BUT NOT THE LATTICEWORK SOFTWARE GROUP

	1.  Delete the program files from your hard drive
	    a.  Click on Start/Programs/Microsoft Explorer.
                Click on the + to the left of "Lattice" to open the
                directory.  Click once on "Horse" to highlight it.
 		Select "Delete" from the "File" menu.
 	    b.  When you are sure you no longer want these files
                double-click on the Recycle Bin on your desktop,
                and select "Empty Recycle Bin" from the "File" menu.
	2.  Remove the program and group from the Start Menu Programs
	    a.  Click on Start/Settings/Taskbar.  Select the
                "Start Menu Programs" tab.  Click "Remove" and click
    		on the + to the left of "LatticeWork Software".  
                Click once on "A Day at the Races" to highlight it.
		Click "Remove."
	3.  Your uninstall is complete.
