SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

To run Jigsaw for Windows, you need Windows 3.1 (tm), an industry-standard
computer with a 80286 or higher CPU, a VGA or higher resolution display,
and a mouse.

INSTALLATION
------------
To install this program, type:

       INSTALL [source drive] [destination drive & directory]

For example,

       INSTALL A: C:\JIGSAW

To uncompress and install a single file, type:

       EXPAND [source file] [destination file]

For example,

       EXPAND A:\KITTY.JI_ C:\JIGSAW\KITTY.JIG

RUNNING JIGSAW
--------------
To add the Jigsaw icon to the Program Manager, Select "New..." from the 
"File" menu.  Choose "Program Item" and click OK.  Then use the browser
to select file JIGSAW.EXE.

To run Jigsaw, double-click on the Jigsaw icon.

You can also run Jigsaw using the "Run..." command from the Program Manager 
"File" menu.

PUZZLE FILES AND DISPLAYS
-------------------------
The puzzle files included on this disk are designed for use with VGA or
VESA-compatible Super VGA displays.  The 256 color puzzles can be used
on a VGA display, however a Super VGA is required to show the proper colors.

If you have a VGA operating in 640x480 16-color mode, try the following 
16-color puzzle files:

    CHEETAH.JIG, OPUS.JIG, LNDSCAPE.JIG, HUMBIRD.JIG, EIFFEL.JIG

If you have a Super VGA operating in 640x480 256-color mode, try these
256-color puzzles:

    BALLOONS.JIG, PIGS.JIG, MONALISA.JIG, EAGLE.JIG, CAROUSEL.JIG

If your Super VGA uses the 1024x786 256-color mode, these puzzles are
recommended:

    KITTY.JIG, JUNKS.JIG, REAPER.JIG, POLAR.JIG, BEARCUBS.JIG
