This is BPM (version 2.5), a program designed to help disk jockeys
and anyone else measure the tempo of recordings.

If you obtained this program from a BBS (Bulletin Board
System), or on disk as a .ZIP file, note that there are two
subdirectories in the archive. This file should be unziped
    with the -d parameter.

The following files should be present in this archive:

READ.ME The file you are now reading
BPM.DOC The documentation for BPM. You should skim this.
      BPM.EXE The BPM program.
RECORDS. The log file I built while testing BPM. Not a
necessary file, but you may find it nice.
COMMA. Another test log file, this one in comma
                  delimited format.
DATABASE. A file explaining that I do not wish to build a
database manipulator into BPM, and suggestions
for you if you want to sort, rearrange, print,
                  etc, the log file.
APOLOGY. Apologies to people for suggestions made that I
did not incorporate. This file, along with
DATABASE, also gives you an idea of what I'm
NOT trying to accomplish with BPM.
FILE_ID.DIZ A file to automatically provide a description
of the BPM.ZIP file for BBS's that support it.

The following files are in the FE subdirectory.
      FE\BPM.DTA \
      FE\BPM.HDR \
FE\BPM.IX6 \ These files are needed by File Express.
FE\BPM.IXH / See the file DATABASE. for more info.
      FE\BPM.LRA /
      FE\BPM.QSS /
FE\IMPORT.DOC The instructions to import a BPM logfile
into the File Express BPM database.
