  This scale system works great for children and beginners, because
  no matter what you do, your music will sound "in tune". Middle C
  is notated here as "C4".

  This particular pentatonic scale is modeled after a Balinese Gamelan
  scale system. Of course, there are many other pentatonic scales. We
  just happen to like this one a lot.
