This is a version of the ACCOUNTS. template custom-made for a local craftsperson who sells at craft fairs, has craft booths in two different tax base cities, and also has wholesale accounts. There are some improvements that may be of interest to anyone who is currently using ACCOUNTS, including additional expense columns and totals of selling days, average income per day, etc. CALCULAT. These are a few financial calculators done the old fashioned way. CHKBOOK1. This is the ledger that was often overlooked in the BOOKKEEP template, useful for balancing your checkbook. CHKBOOK2. A checkbook ledger with 14 account numbers, set up for 12 months, with account information going into a budget. Consists of ACCOUNTS. + BOOKKEEP. + BUDGET. The categories are for home budgeting, but can be changed for a small business. Cell P213 must contain the number of months for which data has been entered. Example--Jan thru July = 7. CHKBOOK3. Like CHKBOOK2., with more categories, for only one time period, and no budget. COLLEGE. An update to the COLLEGE. template with information for 180 colleges and a Lookup formula to enter information. E15 and E16 could be over-written with information from your favorite college if it is not listed. E17 is your best guess for books, etc. RETURNIV. This template is used to analyze the rate of return on a real estate investment (single family housing). Will include depreciation, tax deduction, and appreciation in the final rate of return.
