Thing, developed by Thomas Binder, is the alternative desktop of choice for many Atari enthusiasts. Commercial versions of Thing are bundled with sales of the Milan computer (Ming) and the N.AES alternative operating system (N.Thing). We refuse to enter into speculation over a name for the Ming English release! This is the first complete English release since the release of Thing v1.20 which required a new key and highlights include context sensitive menus and the long awaited icon assign utility - which is now maintained as a separate archive. ** THING.GIF here ** THINGICN.GIF here This English shareware release has been made available thanks to the mammoth effort put in by TransAction's Peter West.
