CHAPTER THREE - THE PLOT THICKENS

All this was news to Joe, as expected, he would have known if he had
attempted to assassinate anyone! This must be some sort of set up.
Joe found it odd that Mr Gates was offering his service to capturing
"the traitor".

Nearly out of breath for running what seemed like a mile to Joe, the
hero decides to stop. While pressing his arms on his aching legs he
notices the alley way between two shops. An Atari Fuji symbol is on
both walls with the words "Atari live forever" spray painted on the
entrance to one.

Knowing the military must be after him again, he decides to take a
look down the alley way. While turning around to look behind him, he
knocks his shoulder against the wall and with this clicking sound a
secret entrance to this shop opens.

Joe enters. Three young men are sat around computers, Atari computers.
One notices the new entrant and greets him - obviously he recognises
him.

"Joe Connor! It's you!". The guy seems fairly friendly. Well,
anything's friendly to Joe now after meeting Mr Machine Gun.

One of the three jumps to his feet. "That is all for today Gentlemen".
This person doesn't seem to like the intrusion at all.

The man that greeted Joe looks at the rude one, then back at Joe.
"Sorry for him Joe, that's number three of our group. I am number one,
the leader and our other member is called - "

"Let me guess" says Joe "Number two?"

"Yes - how did you?- ah, so Joe, would you like to join our group?"

Should Joe say
   1) "What does your group do"
   2) "Yes"
   3) "No"
