WELCOME  on VOYAGER3

This soft is a new developpement of COPERNIC that is distribued by PRESSIMAGE (Paris)
 I was asked by many users of COPERNIC to modify this soft  For better running on all the ATARI computers.
 I try to do it and here are the modifications.
  * It run on hight resolution screen ( 640x400)
  * It run on a big screen
  * You may have 2,4,16,256 colors
  * They is a good compatibility with NVDI and sceenblaster

  * The compatibility is complete with GEM
  * It run on ST/STE/Mega STE ( I hope!)/TT
  * It is developped and optimised on FALCON030
  * You can choose language ( French, English, German)
  * All the language files are in ASCII format. You can modify them to correct the synthax.
  * You can personnalize the desktop organisation whith  icons
  * You can edit shortcuts  keyboard
  * Color screen may be saved
  * It is registry with a personal code
  * Pop up menus are used
  * You have new options of GEM4 ( 3D windows and buttons, colors, ..)
  * The recapitulative boards are more complet than COPERNIC
  * The light version run with only 1 Mo RAM
  * They is new display modules for horizon
  * You have better control codes for the printer
  * You can choose date or hour format
  * You can choose lenght units
  * Star file is editing and associated with horizon option

 The light version is not complete but you have many useful tools to do astronomy as a hobby
 Computes and algorythmes are precise : one seconde time and one to ten second angle
 
 This version allow:
  * To compute ephemeris of planets,Moon, Sun, comets and as asteroids.
  * You can choose place, time zone, atmospheric refraction, time  etc ..
  * To display recapitulative boards for ephemeris, rising and setting for planets.
  * To display the curves of visibility for planets
  * Time for photographic exposures in according with your instruments and your camera
  * The 3 twilights
  * The planets appearance
  * To compare aspect of planets ( phase and scale)
  * To compute and display the dates of :
            * Easter
            * Seasons
            * Opposition
            * Conjunction
            * Largest elongation
            * Perihelion
            * Moon phases
            * Eclipses of Moon and Sun
            * Ephemeris for comets and asteroids
  * To show the curves of physical variations for :
            * Magnitudes
            * Angular distances
            * Lighting
            * Sun distances
            * Earth distances
            * Apparent diameter of planets
  * The variation of the 3 twilights, sunrise and sunset
  * The variation of positions for :
            * Sunrise azimut
            * Sunset azimut
            * Apparent movement
            * Elevation for a day
            * Elevation for a period
  To display stars and planets with horizon option on 8 directions

 In addition the PRO version will have display and animate module
 You can display:
             * Heliocentric orbits
             * Solar system
             * Ecliptic
             * Satellites of JUPITER
             * Ephemeris of comets and asteroids
 You can animate:
             * Heliocentric orbits
             * Solar system
             * Ecliptic
             * Satellites of JUPITER

             * Compared aspects
             * Eclipses
 And more with computing of:
             * coordinates for planets, Moon, Sun 
             * orbits of double stars
 Management of observation files
 Management of astronomic photography with a little data base
 and print of labels


Restrictions of the unregistered light version of VOYAGER3:
             * Running is limited for 15 minutes
             * No saving
             * No printing
             * Precis compute is unactived
             * Input date is limited until 31/12/94

VOYAGER3 INSTALLATION:

 The SYSTEME folder is necessary for a good running
 In this folder you MUST have:
             * the VILLES folder ( geographic datas)
             * The file VOYAGER3.RSC
             * The language files *.LNG
             * The starting files *.NUM and *.POS
             * The registration file VOYAGER3.Nų
             * The orbital datas for comets *.COM
             * The orbital datas for asteroids *.AST
             
 The AIDE folder must be present. This folder contain the
 help files VOYAGERF/E/D.HLP and this file.

Installing VOYAGER3 on a Hard Disk System (only with registered soft ):
      1- Creat a new folder on your hard disk called VOYAGER3
      2- Copy the VOYAGER3.PRG file, the SYSTEME folder and 
         the AIDE folder into the new folder
      3- Run VOYAGER3.PRG .That's all

Installing VOYAGER3 on a floppy disk system:
      Copy all the folders and the files at the root

The VOYAGER3.SET file is created with the first runing of the soft
Don't delete this file : the loading is automatic with it.

VOYAGER3 create many new files:
      *.CRP twilight files
      *.EPH ephemeris files
      *.LEV rising and setting files
      ..... and more

VOYAGER3 light is a SHAREWARE SOFT
 You can distribute it but:
      All the describe files or folders must be present.
      If you modify (translate or improve) the *.RSC
       *.LNG, *.HLP files send me a copy. 
      The other files must not be modified.
