*** RAINBOW II MULTIMEDIA, a Falcon 030¿ specific multimedia package *** /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/ (This demo version has its save function disabled.) This document for RAINBOW II MULTIMEDIA DEMO is copyright ½ ADDICTION SOFTWARE HB 1993, 1994, 1995 and the contents may not be changed, but you are allowed to copy and distribute it with no restrictions. The computer software RAINBOW II MULTIMEDIA DEMO is copyright ½ ADDICTION SOFTWARE HB 1995, but may be copied and distributed by anyone (only this demo version, not the commercial release of RAINBOW II MULTIMEDIA), as long as none of the files in this archive is removed or altered. ADDICTION SOFTWARE HB is not to be held responsible for any damage to hardware or software or loss of data that may occur by using RAINBOW. *** Brief information about RAINBOW II MULTIMEDIA *** ___________________________________________________________________________ The program runs from either floppy or harddisk, and you don't have to change colour mode or resolution from the desktop, since RAINBOW automatically changes that (needless to say it also returns to the old desktop settings when you quit). RAINBOW only works with Falcon 030¿. ___________________________________________________________________________ Since this is a demo version, you won't get a manual. Therefore you will have to guess how RAINBOW works (of course you'll get a manual when you buy the commercial version, where you also can save your work...), but at least we're able to reveal the following "hints": You click on different functions with the left mouse button in order to activate them. But if you want to adjust the function's settings, you'll have to press the right button. Then a menu appears where you can make some choices for that function. Press the right button on "rgb" or "vga" in order to change the frequency and overscan (default is no overscan). WARNING! (in the "vga" menu) Do not set the vertical frequency to 76Hz or 54Hz without knowing for sure that your monitor can handle it (consult your monitor manual). If you happen to set a mode that your monitor can't handle, you may restore the default monitor settings by pressing the numeric key '.'. RAINBOW II MULTIMEDIA manages to load a lot of different file formats. Default is *.*, but if you want to load a specific format (i.e. if you want to load a TGA file called "PICTURE.GFX") you may press the right button (instead of the left) on "load" to enter the load menu. If you want to enter any of the many built-in studios just click on the yellow box "go to another studio". ___________________________________________________________________________ We hope that this demo version can give you a chance to test RAINBOW II MULTIMEDIA before you decide if you're going to buy it. ___________________________________________________________________________
