FALCON MAGGIE FIXES CODED BY MR. PINK (C) 1995 RESERVOIR GODS This is a brief outline explaining how to use the MAGGIE FIX program. For a more detailed explanation, read the manual file, include on Maggie 18 itself. The fixer makes modifications to the MAGGIE disks, so make sure you use BACKUP copies. Don't run this program on your original disks! Follow these steps: 1) Make a backup of the Maggie disk you wish to fix 2) Run the Maggie Fixer program 3) When prompted, insert the write-enabled Maggie disk into drive A 4) Wait as the magazine, intro + other programs are fixed 5) Repeat this process for all issues of Maggie. The Maggie Fixer will create a new loader program on each Maggie disk. This will come in the form a menu, giving you the option of loading the various intros and magazine. This loader will automatically detect the type of computer it is run from and patch programs accordingly. It will also auto detect mono monitors, in which case it will then just load Maggie. Most loaders give you the option of loading Maggie + An intro. If this intro causes problems, you have the option of loading Maggie separately. The loaders will give you the chance of running all the intros, so DO NOT run intros from within Maggie as they will crash (at least on the Falcon). The main problem is with chip music, so DO NOT change the music from within Maggie on the Falcon as it will crash. As well as every issue of Maggie and every single intro being Falcon fixed, also most programs featured on Maggie have been patched. Check out the main manual for more info, but programs such as Packers, Art Programs and Boot Protectors have been fixed. The Reservoir Gods can't be held responsible for any damage to disk incurred during the use of this program.
