Afterstarting,STICKERIIIasksyouwhichprinteryouareusing. ThereafterSTICKERIIIwillautomaticallyprovidethedatafora 9-or24-pinprinter.Itisnotnecessarytosaveyourselection. BetweentherightscrollingarrowandtheFSBthereisaninfo linewhichshowsyouhowmanyrowsareinmemoryandwhichof theserowsiscurentlyinuse.  WhenSTICKERIIIstartsup,itautomaticlyloadsthepictogram fileslistedinthefileDEFAULT.With STICKER III it is possible to put together a default set of pictograms which are loaded at program start. To do this you have to make a DEFAULT file in which the names of the files to be loaded are written under one another. You can use any text editor to do this,theonlythingyouhavetotakecare of isthattheDEFAULTfileissavedaspure ASCII-Code.The files to be loaded have to be in the folder PICTOS and the folder PICTOS must be on the same dirctory level as STICK_3E.PRG and STICK_3E.DAT.Youcanloadupto150pictograms(25rows),trying toloadmorewon'twork.STICKERIIIwillautomaticlystop loadingwhenit'sbellyisfull. THEBUTTONS Theuppertwobuttonsarefor loadingandsavingyourlabelsfor furtheruse,soyoudon'thaveto makenewonesallthetime. Inthesecondrowyouwillfinda buttonbythenameofADD-A-ROW. Afterclickingthisbuttonyouwill beaskedifyouwanttoLOADmore pictogramsorCREATEnewones. IfyouchoosetoLOADmore,you willbeaskedifyouwanttoadd newpictogramstothosealready loadedin,thuskeepingtheones thatarenowloaded,ortoreplace thosenowloadedwiththepicto- gramsyouplantoload. Icondataisindicatedwiththeextension".ADD".Whateveryou chose,amaximumof150pictogramscanbeloaded.Afteryou reachthemagicnumberof150loadingwillautomaticlyterminate.  IfyouchosetoCREATEpictogramsyouwillfindyouselfinthe pictogrameditor,butmoreaboutthatlater. ThebuttonwiththenameofPRINTITdoesexactlythat,itprints yourlabel. Inthebottomrowyouwillfindtwobuttons,theoneontheleft clearsthelabelandgivesyouanewonetoworkon.Theright buttonbeamsyoubacktotheDesktop. ‰THEEDITOR € Ifyouchoosetocreatenewpictograms,anewEDITORscreenwill appearwith24emptyiconsandamenulist.UndertheMenu OptionLOAD,finishediconscanbeloadedintotheeditor.(Note thatthisdoesnotmakethemautomaticallyavailablefromthe mainlabel-makingscreen).WithSAVE,youcansaveoneormore rowsfromtheicongroupingabovethemenuasan.ADDfile.Todo thischoosetheroworrowsyouwanttosave(byclickingon them),andthenclick"OK"beforeyouarepresentedwithafile- selector-box.Ifyouwanttotitleaniconyouhavedesigned, choosetheMenuOptionNAME.Yourgraphicwillappearandyoucan provideeachpicturewithanameandaindex,aletterwhichwill automaticallyappearlastinthedisknumberfieldofanylabel usingthatgraphic(forexample,youmightwanttochooseTfor Toolsifyourdisk-numberingsystemdistinguishesthesetypesof programs). WithCOPYandSWAPyoucanduplicateandmovethepictograms around. Youcanquittheeditorintwoways.WithENDyouleavethe editorandreturntothelabelmakingpartofstickerwithoutany fuss.IfyouchoseTAKEyouhavetheposibilitytotakethe pictogramswithyou.Todothisyousimplyclicktherowsyou wanttotakewithyouandthenclickonOK. Throughthechoiceof"EDITOR",youcanchangeiconsordesignnew oneswithalimiteddrawingprogram.Actuallytheeditoris self-explanatory,butthereareafewthingsworthmentioning: Allthedrawingfunctionsarebegunbyholdingdowntheleft mousebuttonandendedbylettinggo. Therightmousebuttonprovidesforan"undo"--clickitto undothelastthingyoudrew. Settingpointsanddeletingthem: Whereveryouclicktheleftmousebuttoninthedrawing window,apointwilleitherbeplacedorremoved.Ifyou startbyclickingonablackpoint,you'llbe"drawing"in white(removingeverythingyoupassover);ifyoustartby clickingonawhitepoint,you'llbedrawinginblack. Scissors: Thisfunctionallowsyoutocutarectangularpiecefroma full-screenpicture.However,thepicturemustfirstbe loadedinbyclicking"BILDLADEN".OnlyDoodleandDegas (.PI3)picturescanbeloadedandcut. Youhavetwooptions: - 1-1 --> Cuts a pictogramm sized piece out of a picture. - AUTO -->Automaticly scales the cut out piecetopicto- gram size. Youcancreateeraseareasofthepicturewithalittle trick: 1.Choosethesolidblackpattern(MUSTER). 2.Choosethefilledrectangledrawingshape. 3.Invertthepicture. 4.Covertheareatobedeletedwiththefilled rectangle. 5.Reinvertthepicture.
