BOOTSEC ST Programmer's Manual BOOTSEC

NAME
BOOTSEC - display the data in a disk's boot sector

SYNOPSIS
     bootsec [drive...drive]

DESCRIPTION
bootsec displays the configuration information in the boot sector of
the disks in the named drives. This includes sector size, cluster sizes,
FAT sizes, directory sizes, capacity, etc.

BUGS
None known. GEMDOS does not process all the data in the boot sector,
so changing some values may have the desired effect. Hard disks do not
use the same format as floppy disks for boot sector variables, so some
of the values may be useless.
