VOICE DIRECTORY

     This directory has been dedicated for a single purpose. It is to allow any
 user to experience SPEECH SYNTHESIS plus VOICE RECOGNITION. 

     This dimension of  computer technology is made  possible through a special
board called HEARSAY. All software  required to  enable any  user to work  with
either of  these areas  is  found  in this  directory.  A  complete,  printable
operations manual consisting of files  marked HEARSAY0.TXT through HEARSAY9.TXT
is also here on  this CD-ROM.  All sections  combine to create a  comprehensive
book nearly 120 pages long. 

     HEARSAY software  found on  this CD-ROM  has  been  specially designed  to
integrate itself with this CD-ROM. Upon proper installation  of a HEARSAY board
& setup of this software package,  you will be able to fully access this CD-ROM
as easy as using your keyboard or mouse.

     After reading  these HEARSAY.TXT  files,  you  will soon  discover  nearly
limitless applications for SPEECH SYNTHESIS & VOICE RECOGNITION beyond what has
been developed for this CD-ROM.

     If you are using HEARSAY from a CD-ROM,  please check catagories such as a
grab bag or assorted area.  In these areas  you find other  speech synthesis or 
programs which may work with your HEARSAY board.
