    Maintenance Release v1.2
    ------------------------
V1.2 corrects a DOS buffers - cache coherency fault.

This fault manifests itself on single diskette backups
were the target diskette has been accessed by DOS prior to
backup. The result is diskette FAT corruption which is
variable in severity depending on the sectors DOS had
    buffered prior to backup.

Testing has been done on the following OS's

	PC-DOS 3.30
        MS-DOS 4.01
        MS-DOS 5.0
        MS-DOS 6.2

	OS/2 2.1
        Windows 3.0
	Windows 3.1
        Windows for Workgroups 3.11
	Windows	NT 3.1

    --------------------------------------------------------

Users experiencing snow problems on CGA monitors should
start SafeGard once using the undocumented /cga command line
parameter to correct the problem. You will notice a
reduction in screen refresh rates as a result of this
    operation.

Note: /ega removes the effects of /cga

    Performance Improvements
    -------------------------
Performance Improvements may be obtained by configuring
your system with a RAMDRIVE and the changing the TEMP
file path to point to the RAMDRIVE within the <OPTIONS>
    <SETUP> dialog.

    Files created by SafeGard

      list information.

    - To view these directories be sure that <View><Options>
