Version 1.11 (Product Upgrade - January 1993) --------------------------------------------- This product upgrade addresses the following: o CSV file format support has been upgraded as follows: - The record count entry as the first record of all ASCII data files is no longer a requirement for Stable v1.11 and above! - The serialized or Lotus-style date format has been added as a recognized date format ("D9"). o The maximum number of supported data units has been increased from from 1,024 to a maximum of 16,384 units (days, weeks, etc...). o Data files can now contain zero values without error. o Relative Strength indicator can now be applied to securities with differing underlying frequency (daily -v- weekly data sets). Version 1.10 (Product Upgrade - April 1992) ------------------------------------------- This product upgrade addresses the following: o Free mailed upgrade to all registered users. o CSI and Technical Tools data - along with the current MetaStock and CSV formats - can now be read by Stable. A wider range of data import formats enhances the value and flexibility of Stable by being ready when you change your source of historical financial data. o DDE support has been built into Stable - allowing you to communicate directly with any Stable chart through the use of third-party software (such as Microsoft Excel) to open, print, display - or to dynamically add new data to a chart. o New technical indicators have been added to Stable: - Open Interest - Relative Strength Indicator (RSI) - Moving Average Convergence/Divergence (MACD) - Commodity Channel Index (CCI) - Relative Strength o New functionality has been added allowing you to move quickly from one chart to another, and to close and/or minimize all of your existing screen charts. o Windows 3.0/3.1 compatability; including "Drag and Drop" of CSV and Technical Tools data files directly into Stable. o A default chart configuration feature has been added. Simply design a chart, then tell Stable that the chart's configuration is to be used for all of your new charts. o Automatic Chart Loading feature when Stable is run. o Price Graph resizing (both prompted and interactive). o Auto-labeling feature for Price Graphs. o New graph styles have been implemented allowing you to select the best presentation style for your graphs. You can choose from either a High/Low Bar graph, Line graph, or Histogram. o CSV data format extensions allowing more flexibility in your choice of ASCII financial data representation: - Date formats - Open Interest o Popup graph menus. By simply clicking within the graph of interest, you can quickly and easily perform your important graphing tasks through a popup graph menu. Version 1.01b ------------- This update addresses the following: o Removes intermittent UAE problem and allows color button action. Version 1.01a ------------- This update addresses the following: o Fixes a bug where whole number values (i.e., VOLUME) in the CSV file were sometimes converted incorrectly if spaces existed between the end of the value and the comma as in: 01/02/90 , 206813 , 2811.65 , 2732.51 , 2810.15 o Supports date values in the CSV file containing dashes ('-') as well as slashes ('/'). o Any security data file read in by Stable containing OPEN, HIGH, and LOW values identical to the CLOSE are transformed to CLOSE only data.
