Thank you for evaluating "Shareware Tracker"!

The first time you run the "Shareware Tracker" program, it will create all
of the necessary database and index the files. This will take quite a few
minutes, but it will only do this the first time. The next time you call
the program, it will come up much quicker.

**** IMPORTANT ***

You must set an environmental variable in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file, or from
the DOS command line in order for this program to operate:

        SET CLIPPER=F95

The installation program will add the proper line to your AUTOEXEC.BAT if
you allow it to do so. If not, you will need to add it manually.

You will also need to check the FILES and BUFFERS settings in your
CONFIG.SYS file. If you don't already have at least 90 FILES and 20
BUFFERS, please change these lines accordingly:

        FILES=90
        BUFFERS=20

The installation program will likewise make the necessary adjustments to
your CONFIG.SYS file if you allow it to. If you don't, then you will need
to make the changes manually.

You will need to reboot your system in order for these changes to take
effect.
