SMALL BUSINESS ADVISOR -- INSTRUCTIONS FOR RUNNING FROM A CD-ROM
     OR OTHER READ-ONLY DISK DRIVE:
     ****************************************************************
SMALL BUSINESS ADVISOR can be run directly from a CD-ROM drive,
just as from a regular (hard disk) drive. To start the program,
simply type, at the DOS prompt: GO <and press the Enter key>

However, note that the program, the first time it runs, will
ask your permission to create a subdirectory on your hard disk
(named \SBE), into which it will copy or create several small
configuration files. (These configuration files will only take
up a total of about 1K of space on your hard disk.)

We STRONGLY suggest, if you wish to run the S.B. Advisor program
regularly, that you copy all of its files into a single subdir-
ectory on your hard disk (other than the \SBE directory), pref-
erably under the directory name \SMALLBIZ.

S.B. Advisor frequently needs to access disk files, so that it
will tend to run very slowly on most CD-ROM drives. Files that
take 10 or 15 seconds to load when run from a CD-ROM will load
almost instantly from a hard disk!
