This diskzine is provided as shareware. If you read it - whether you read all of it or just a part of each article, you need to pay for it. Why should you register? Well, it's the right thing to do, and although it's essentially impossible for us to do anything if you don't pay for this issue of the HSBJ, paying for it does make you legal. However, there is a better reason. A reason specifically related to the way every business works. If people such as yourself pay for this issue of the HSBJ, there will be future issues of the HSBJ and we will publish additional SSS transcripts. If we don't get enough registrations to make this issue worthwhile, then we won't be publishing any further SSS transcripts -- it's simple business economics. And by the way! Yes, there will be future issues of the HSBJ with- out regard to how many registrations we get for this issue. We will be turning our focus toward general topics of interest to small business and we'll see whether the HSBJ can support itself as a profitable diskzine. But for this issue, you get to vote with your registration payments and we'll see whether it is worthwhile to be publishing complete transcripts of the Summer Shareware Seminar sessions. ABOUT THE HSBJ Every other issue of the HomeCraft Small Business Journal is provided as shareware. This issue is a shareware issue. The HomeCraft Small Business Journal is published four times a year. At the end of March, June, September and December. Additional special issues may be published each year. The HSBJ is available on either 5-1/4" or 3-1/2" disk, for IBM compatible computers only. Please specify the disk size you need. The subscription fee is: $8.00 (œ6.OO in the U.K) per single issue. You can register a shareware issue and the previous nonshareware issue for $10.00 (œ8.00 in the U.K.). Send $10 to receive the previous issue, which includes transcripts of three other SSS sessions, plus an article by Diana Gruber covering rack vending. The three SSS sessions are: Registration Incentives; ASCAP Style Royalties for shareware and the Legal Aspects of Shareware - which was a truly great session with Lance Rose. It's interesting reading for both those inside and outside the shareware industry! Get A One Year Subscription and $ave Don't miss an issue - get a one year subscription and automatically receive the four issues. There will be no need to worry about paying shareware registration fees; you'll be preregistered for the next two shareware issues. Plus, you'll receive the next nonshareware issue and the previous nonshareware issue (more great SSS transcripts) mailed direct to your home or office. In addition, with a one year subscription you will also receive any special issues released during the next year. A one year subscription will get you a total of four issues released, plus all special issues - and it only costs $20.00 (œ16.00 in the U.K.). A subscription order form is built into the HSBJ. Go to the menu and select the "Fill Out Subscription Form" option. NETWORK INSTALLATION: The HSBJ may be installed on a network, provided you have a network license.
